Dublin is getting much cheaper!

Great news for Ireland .. for the people who live here and for tourists visiting us. Dublin is getting cheaper! You can read the whole story in the Irish Times newspaper but the cost of living here is now cheaper than most European capital cities .. sounds like Dublin could be a good place to choose to do an English language course maybe! Anyone?? :) http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/breaking/2013/0206/breaking28.html

Best value Spanish and Italian language courses in Dublin

When looking for the best possible Spanish or Italian Evening course, you should shop around - and then book with the DLTC language school in Dun Laoghaire. Here's why:

We took a look at what other language schools were offering last September and, when we took a good look at courses in terms of the actual price you pay per hour tuition and the course details, we were really surprised at how expensive other schools are - here's what we found:

  • Dawson school had the lowest course fee at 100euro but as you are only getting 6 hours tuition for that, it was the most expensive course per hour (16.67euro per hour).
  • Sandford school was the language school whose price per hour was nearest ours, but even that was over 2euros per hour more expensive.

So what's the difference? Why are our Spanish & Italian courses cheaper? The answer: we believe in good value. All our courses are taught by very experienced, qualified, native-speaking language teachers. We use standard coursebooks that come with student CDs so you can continue to study at home. We offer progression - you can start as a beginner and continue through 5 more levels. We guarantee no more than 11 students in a class and our average is only 6 or 7 students per class - which offers you a lot of direct teacher time. We've been running these courses since 2002 and understand what our students need. We provide a friendly, relaxed but professional service. We are easy to get to (bus, DART and free on-street parking directly outside).

Student Feedback - March 2012

Student feedback is very important to us at the DLTC Language School. That's why we ask our students at the end of each course to complete a feedback questionnaire. This helps us to know if students are reaching their goals with us; what students expect from us; and how we are performing in matching those expectations.

For example, from our questionnaires, we know that our students appreciate our small class sizes (especially in the low season where there maybe only 5 or 6 in a class); that we are offering a very friendly, customer-oriented experience; that we are providing activities that students enjoy; that our teachers and office staff are providing top quality service.

So I want to say well done to the teachers and office staff who consistently put in a great effort to make all of this possible - here are what some of the students have said about them and the school over the past few weeks:

  • "the DLTC was a very good experience - in the future I would like to repeat it" (Carolina, Spain, General English Course)
  • "Enjoyable and entertaining classes. Good and entertaining excursions are organised." (Francisco, Spain, General English Course)
  • "I like the class because we speak alot in English. My experience in DLTC was fantastic. Thanks a lot" (Francesco, Italy, General English Course)
  • "Teacher: excellent; contents: excellent; experience at the DLTC: excellent" (Piero, Italy, General English Course)
  • "My teachers were very nice, helpful, and friendly. I'm satisfied. I enjoyed the experience very much. Absolutely fantastic!" (Emanuele, Italy, General English Course)
  • "What was best about the course was the small number of students in each class. They are excellent teachers - they taught me a lot. Everyone is very friendly and helpful - thanks a million" (Vera, Czech Republic, General English Course)
  • "The DLTC was a very nice experience in my life. My teacher is a good teacher. All the staff is so kind and fun" (Kim, South Korea, General English Course)
Wow! So there you have it - that's what the students are saying about the DLTC Language School! Well done to all the staff and many thanks to all our students.
