Working in Ireland - Applying for a PPS number

Many English language students arriving from EU countries wish to work in Ireland. In order to work in Ireland, you must have a PPS number - it is like a personal reference number for tax and social security issues. In order to get a PPS number, you will have to go to a PPSN registration centre and bring with you several documents - if you are an EU national, this will be: your passport or national ID card and Evidence of Address in Ireland (household utility bill, official letter, financial statement, property lease/rental agreement, employers letter - any with your name and address on it). Here's some information on how to apply:

Here's a list of PPSN registration centres Dublin: http://www.welfare.ie/EN/Topics/PPSN/Pages/ppsncontact.aspx#dublin
If you can't find the information you're looking for there, visit the social welfare office around the corner from the DLTC Language School and ask there.
